Just a stone's throw from Place des Trois Ormeaux, right in the heart of the historic center of Aix-en-Provence, surrounded by markets, fountains, and bustling alleyways, stands a historic building dating back to 1670.

It is here, on the fourth floor, that Les Heures Bleues is located.

​

 

From the street, you experience Aix to the fullest. Then you push open the door and climb the stairs, floor by floor, gradually leaving the noise of the city behind. Upstairs, the light is different, the sky feels closer, and the city reveals itself in a new light.

​

 

In the apartment, every window is like a painting.

One opens onto the Place des Trois Ormeaux, below.

Another looks out over the rooftops of Aix.

Yet another frames the nearby Chapel of the Visitation.

 

And then there is the terrace.

​

From there, the view sweeps over the rooftops, pauses on the chapel, then continues into the background, where Sainte-Victoire looms in the distance.

​

 

In the morning, the city awakens gently.

​

In the evening, the light softens, and that moment between day and night arrives: the blue hours.
